Riyadh is set to host the inaugural Art Week Riyadh from April 6 to 13, 2025. This groundbreaking event, organized by the Saudi Visual Arts Commission, promises a rich tapestry of exhibitions, discussions, and immersive experiences that celebrate both Saudi and international artistry.​

A Constellation of Artistic Endeavors

Under the evocative theme "At The Edge," Art Week Riyadh seeks to explore the intersections of tradition and innovation, local narratives and global perspectives. The event will feature contributions from over 45 esteemed galleries spanning the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. Notable participants include Saudi galleries such as Ahlam Gallery and the L’Art Pur Foundation, alongside international powerhouses like Lisson Gallery and Perrotin.

The heart of Art Week Riyadh will be the JAX District, a revitalized warehouse complex in Diriyah that has blossomed into a vibrant hub for artists and creatives. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the main exhibition, "At The Edge," which showcases contemporary works reflecting the dynamic evolution of Saudi Arabia's art landscape. The district will also host a series of workshops, panel discussions, and studio tours, offering an intimate glimpse into the creative processes of renowned artists like Ahmed Mater and Muhannad Shono. ​
