A brilliant moment for high jewelry education in the Kingdom

This week, L’École School of Jewelry Arts from Van Cleef & Arpels brought its renowned “4 Cs of Diamonds” workshop to Riyadh—marking a brilliant moment for jewelry education in the Kingdom. Hosted in partnership with Van Cleef & Arpels Saudi Arabia, the hands-on session invited guests to explore the diamond in its truest form: not only as a symbol of luxury, but as a marvel of science, craft, and natural wonder.
Guided by expert gemologists, participants examined stones through a 10x loupe, the same tool professionals use to assess clarity and brilliance. The experience offered more than sparkle—it unpacked the essential qualities that define diamond value: cut, color, clarity, and carat weight. With each facet revealed, the workshop turned admiration into understanding.

In a setting that blended technical precision with poetic detail, attendees walked away with newfound knowledge—and a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind every brilliant stone. This wasn’t just a jewelry class. It was a rare invitation to see beauty, thoughtfully magnified.
